We have an item assigned in McLane PI for one retailer.  How do we assign the same item in McLane for another / different retailer?

Hello @kxsRSC

Thank you for using our community! Welcome!

McLane PI is retailer-specific, meaning that an item assigned within a McLane PI setup is associated with that particular retailer and cannot be directly assigned to another retailer through the same PI.

If the same item needs to be assigned to a different retailer, a separate retailer-specific setup/assignment will be required. Please provide the name of the additional retailer, and we can confirm the appropriate process for getting the item assigned.

Thank you!

GTIN is 10077260022117 (parent).  It is currently assigned to Kinney Drug in McLane PI as they (McLane) handle shipments to that retailer for us.  We need this same item assigned for West Coast that will be handled by McLane.  I normally work on the IM side of things, I am trying to help out our team on the PI side. I had republished the item to McLane but that hasn't seemed to do anything. I went through the Product Introduction for McLane document that is posted but didn't see anything that seemed to apply.  I appreciate any help you can provide.

Apologies, the retailer is Coast Guard....so, it is one of the military accounts that McLane handles for us.

Hello, @kxsRSC,

Thank you for the additional information.

In Product Introduction, attributes on the Supplier Data page of the item, such as "Customer", cannot be edited while the item is in a Complete status. If McLane have asked you to make changes to this field, you can restart the workflow for this item, update it, then submit it again.

We recommend the document below for additional information on "Products Approved By McLane" and "How to restart Workflow":

Thanks!
