Hello
Our company uses a GLN in item management that is different than the one listed in GS1. It has the same prefix but different ending. Can you explain why the one we use in IM is not listed as a location in GS1? I have asked people on my team, but they have no idea. I know I was told previously that IM can only reflect what is listed in GS1 so I thought you may be able to provide some insight.
0029714000014 is in IM
0029714000007 is listed in GS1

Hello @Jezebel and thank you for continuing the use of the customer community. Welcome back!
Many companies will have more than one GLN assigned and cand use one or several GLNs to publish their data. Different GLNs may come from multiple physical company locations, different legal entities, different business functions, brand or business unit separation as well as other factors. If the information in our systems is out of date or if it needs to be updated, this can first of all be confirmed with our assigned representative to your company. We can create a ticket for you if additional assistance is needed in this regard, please.
Thank you!

Hi Val
I do not think our info is out of date, the prefix is correct I am just trying to figure out why we are using a number that does not have a corresponding location in GS1. I thought maybe someone there would have ideas, but I think we need to discuss with someone at GS1. Thanks for responding 🙂
